What a summer!

I can't believe this summer is already coming to an end! We have been going nonstop and it's been a BLAST. We've had so much fun with family and friends and there are too many days to make individaul blog posts about so you get it all in one shot! I have been neglecting this blog lately, but I'm going to do better! Allie starts dance tomorrow and school next week so that is how I know my summer is officially over :( We do have one more trip planned to Lake Mead with the Taggart's next month so at least we have that to look forward to! And did I mention we just put our house up for sale? We are headed back up to North Ogden! I'll post more about that later on. We hope you all had a terrific summer...bring on the fall! (my favorite season).

Ogden Pioneer Days Rodeo - growing up in California, I had never been to a rodeo until we moved to Utah. I can now say that going to the rodeo is one of my favorite things to do in the summer

it was like seeing a princess at Disneyland Weber County Fair this is the closest Allie would get waiting in line for the rediculously expensive rides the goods...cotton candy we watched Ryan iFly at Nate's birthday party swimming at Grandma's pool silly poses with cousin Saylee Bets and Steve came to visit this past weekend Jake and Allie always swimming always on the iphones!
of course we ate here... and took a tour of the new restaurant, opening soon! sisters Dad with the husbands Mom with her girls
and of course we can't leave out little miss Nala, who is not so little anymore. Allie has her in a bathing suit.
her first bath she actually loves the bath, though you wouldn't think it from the look on her face here

Ryan is really good with training Nala, I need to do a little better. Sometimes Allie and I like to have a little fun with her. She's a jumper.

Portraits

Our great friend Julie just happens to be a great photographer as well and she had a really neat photo session this month called "Fun in the Field." We had some pictures of Allie taken and they turned out really cute, despite the fact that she is in this phase where she doesn't smile for the camera all that much. You can see them here if you scroll down a little bit. http://www.juliebaileyphotography.blogspot.com/

Thanks Julie, we love them!

St. George

Last weekend we went to St. George for Ryan's family reunion. We were missing two of his sisters who couldn't make it but we had a blast with the rest of the family all weekend playing at the lake, having picnics, playing volleyball, going to the movies, playing cards, having BBQ's and going to IN AND OUT! I'm so lucky to have such great in-laws, we have such a good time together and they have welcomed Allie and I so warmly to the family!

Aunt Kim, Grandma, and Allie

Ryan took Haddie out on the kneeboard...one of these days we will get Allie on it!

A little volleyball
This is baby Rowan, the newest member at the family reunion. So sweet, Allie was in love.

We love KIM!
Ryan's brother let us take a ride on his motorcycle, thanks Jason!
We can't go to St. George without eating here at least once...this trip it was twice. In two days.
Can't wait for our next fun trip together! Thanks Mom and Dad for a great weekend!
