Oh boy...

We are having a BOY! I'm still in shock. I totally thought it was a girl. I think because I've had a girl for 5 years now that's all I can imagine. But now we are going to have a little BOY! I have no idea how to have a boy! Ryan knew it was going to be a boy and Allie switched her guess from a girl to a boy about 3 days ago so I should have listened to them. We are so excited and could not be happier. He is healthy and growing right on schedule. And Betsy and Steve's little boy will be born just three months earlier, we can't wait! I'm sure I'll get the hang of having a son once this little one is born but I'm shocked! I've never seen Ryan so happy to be at the doctor's office. And Allie is happy with either a little sister or brother, she just wants to make sure that no matter what it is, she's the boss of it. See? She's got the big sister roll down already.

School's out!

Allie is done with preschool! I cannot believe she starts kindergarten this fall. It's all going too fast, she's growing up way too fast. I think I'm more nervous than her. We took her to kindergarten orientation a few weeks ago and the elementary school seemed so big for such a little girl! I'm sure it will be fine but it's a little scary. I put on a pretty brave face but underneath that face I'm freaking out a little bit.

The graduation tonight was so cute, full of songs and spotlights of each of the children. Her teacher, Ms. Misty, did a great job of putting it all together.

Big Sister!!

Someone is gonna be a big sister!

WE'RE PREGNANT! And we couldn't be happier! Baby is healthy and due in November. Hopefully we will be able to find out what the sex is at our next appointment, and hopefully I am at the tail-end of morning sickness!! Allie and Ryan have put up with my sick ways really well and have been such a HUGE help! Allie is so excited to finally be a big sister and will be such a good helper. And Ryan is so excited to have a little newborn to hold. We can't wait for this little person to join our family!!

So my sister Betsy is PREGNANT!! She is due in August and flew out a couple of weeks ago for a baby shower we threw for her. I'm kind of a loser because during all of the rushing around during the shower, I took a whopping TWO pictures! So here they are.

Since I only took two pictures I stole the next two from my sister's blog. Here are the sisters with Amanda! Isn't Betsy's baby tummy so cute? This shower was for girls only so the boys had a man date at the movies and In-n-Out.
The shower was a hit and Bets got tons of much needed baby gear.

Today we've been married a year! Maybe the fastest year of our lives, so much has happened! Definitely one of the best years of our lives, we are so thankful for what we have together. Happy Anniversary Ryan! I love you. And I can't wait for Vegas on Thursday ;)
